The sales representative (Market Manager) main objective is to grow the money transfer business through the recruiting of new agents, cultivation of the accounts in their targeted territory and increase of same store sales to meet/exceed the specific territory agent and transaction goals ensuring adherence to compliance regulations. This position will be responsible for the Bay area.
Essential Job Functions:
- Sign, activate and train new agent locations in key cities, towns, and zip code areas.
- Supports agents to ensure transaction growth.
- Overall management of assigned territory performance based on key metrics (transactions agent mix and other products/services).
- Manages existing agent network to increase same store sales and reduce agent “churn”
- Trains and ensures agents comply and follow company procedures and compliance regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the money transfer/financial services at retail industry.
Minimum of 3 years outside sales experience
Candidate must be fluent in English and Spanish. Must demonstrate the ability to interact tactfully and positively with co-workers, management, customers and public.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written and oral form.
Ability To :
Work effectively and productively with others
Analyze company and market data to reinforce or correct market and/or agency performance trend.
Knowledge of compliance regulations related to money transfer.
Understand the particulars of monetary transactions
To take ownership for own work to continuously improve performance
Use computer & keyboard to process work.
This position requires a valid license to operate a motor vehicle and the person in this position is required to maintain a good driving record as deemed appropriate by liability insurance carriers.
Requires driving long distances.
