JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Attendance Specialists

Reports to: Director of Culture

Status: Part time

Schedule : Mon – Tue (3PM – 7PM) Wed (1PM – 7PM) Th – Fri (3PM – 7PM)

Pay Rate : $12.50 per hour

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Attendance Specialists is responsible for maintaining the front desk, providing high quality customer service and ensuring the safety of the club members. Must be cooperative, friendly and have the ability to create a harmonious and welcoming environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate and Manage the Clubhouse Front Desk:

  • Create and Maintain the safety, security and appearance of the front desk
  • Create and maintain a Club environment that is positive and fun
  • Greet, monitor and track all visitors and members
  • Collaborate with the Clubhouse Manager and YDS to gather members for families
  • Coordinate with the Membership Coordinate to ensure sign sheets are available
  • Accurately sign in and sign out members
  • Answer all incoming phone calls
  • Communicate and disperse information about upcoming events and activities to members and families
  • Communicate any payments information to families
  • Maintain supplies for facility and front desk
  • Recognize volunteers for their assistance daily
  • Assist with day to day operations of the front desk
  • Abide by Club’s policies, procedures, and federal and state laws
  • Wear uniform while working at or attending Club functions
  • Adhere to all Child Care Licensing requirements and policies/procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook and elsewhere
  • Other duties as assigned

Program for Parents

  • Complete and reconcile daily attendance and swipe audit
  • Communicate discrepancies to families and relevant BGCN
  • Preparing correspondence and reports relating to membership and PFP
  • Provides high-quality customer service to all families, as well as BGCN members

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 years of experience as a Customer Service Agent
  • Associates Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communications skills
  • PC literacy (MS Office, in particular)
  • Prior experience working with a Boys & Girls Club
  • Background working with Families with Program for Parents
  • First aid and CPR certified
  • Pass fingerprint-based criminal history checks

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing
  • Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
  • Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching
