Responsible for general product management and execution of all business plan elements including product and packaging development, pricing, strategy implementation and distribution initiatives.
Brand Strategy Development: Partner with Brand Manager and cross-functional areas as needed in development and execution of brand strategy and marketing plan to include consumer insights, price, promotion, placement and product
Weekly and Monthly Reporting: Compile and analyze data and communicate findings and recommendations. Includes pricing/quote summary sheet, competitive, forecast data, POS data and NPD/Market Research
Product Portfolio Management: Manage product portfolio including SKU rationalization and discontinuation recommendations. Provide support to Marketing leadership in the development of product strategy in concert with the Design and Merchandising teams.
Manage Competitive Information: Conduct and update monthly competitive pricing grid and communicate a summary of key findings to Marketing and Design
Style Packet Management in PLM: Obtain and compile information under the supervision of the Marketing Manager to prepare specific style and costing packets. Work with Marketing Manager and key departments to ensure the packets are processed correctly and on time.
Manage Creative Requests: initiate creative requests and follow through the process for display merchandisers, creative needs, photoshoots, packaging, etc…under the direction of supervisor

1-3 years of Marketing or Brand Management experience
Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Marketing or a related field; MBA preferred but not required

Marketing knowledge: Developing Proficiency of knowledge of new product development process; P&L management; Pricing and margin analysis; Trade marketing/promotional marketing; Packaging design/development.
Display Merchandising/Creative: Developing Proficiency in ability to visualize merchandising and packaging from a consumer perspective to develop effective Point of Sales
Language skills: Proficient ability to build/write reports, business correspondence and create presentations. Proficient ability to effectively present data and analysis, information and respond to questions from senior management, managers, the sales force and customers.
Mathematical skills: Proficient ability to calculate retail math (including IMU, RGM, markdown, breakeven analysis, sell through %) and apply concepts of basic algebra and statistical calculation and interpretation.
Reasoning ability: Introduction to solving practical problems and dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Introduction to defining complex problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions. Developing Proficiency of ability to make decisions and recommendations.
Technical knowledge: Developing Proficiency of brand and product marketing. Developing Proficiency of project management expertise for multiple, simultaneous projects: timing, resources, and budgets. Developing Proficiency in working knowledge of cross functional teams (Merchandising, Design, Sales, Forecasting, Replenishment, Sourcing, etc.)
Leadership: Developing Proficiency in ability to lead teams and set goals. Proficient matrix management skills.
Interpersonal/People skills: Proficient ability to successfully interact with a wide and varied range (intellectual and behavioral) of people while fostering a cooperative working environment.
Computer literacy: Must have a highly developed strong background in MS Office Suite – – Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
