Ecommerce National Account Manager

Tripp Lite is seeking an organized and motivated sales professional to join our U.S. Channel Sales Team. Based in Chicago, IL, the Etail National Account Manager is responsible for initiating, developing and managing sales within etail accounts to drive joint business objectives and meet sales targets. This involves working with channel partners to identify new opportunities for Tripp Lite and conducting follow-up as necessary to close deals.


Build and prospect a target partner list to win new partners and end-user opportunities

Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers in ecommerce and OEM accounts

Maintain weekly phone contact with partners and make occasional on-site visits

Provide support information (marketing materials, product promotions, images, etc.) to partners

Determine sales trends by account to provide strategic partner proposals

Create quarterly forecasts by account and provide progress reports on new business partners

Maintain partner communications via and weekly reports

Respond promptly to all inquiries and quotation requests

Required Skills

Sales experience with an understanding of channel sales

Strong analytical skills

Excellent negotiation and presentation skills

Travel as needed to partner sites (typically monthly or quarterly)

Good knowledge of Excel, Word and CRM/

Preferred Skills

Experience in IT channel sales

IT product knowledge

Previous experience calling on,, and/or


Bachelor’s degree
