Adjunct Assistant Professor – Biology (Non-Majors) job – Johnson County Community College – Overland Park, KS

Instruct students in the course: Introductory Biology for Non-Majors (lecture and lab.)

Required Skills

Master’s degree with 18 graduate credit hours in Biology.

Successfully completed undergraduate or graduate level coursework in cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, chemistry and microbiology.

Demonstrate familiarity with appropriate biology lab equipment.

Computer literacy including ability to communicate and develop teaching materials and enter grades electronically.

Preferred Qualifications:
Doctorate in Biology.

Required Experience

One year of teaching biology college-level credit courses is required.

Demonstrate familiarity with the use of appropriate computer software.

Demonstrate fluency in written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Community college teaching experience is preferred.
