Part-time

Exciting and rapidly growing meat and seafood Distribution Company seeking an entry-level, part-time accounting assistant.

Responsibilities:

  • Credit memo processing
  • Customer payment processing
  • Miscellaneous data entry
  • Daily filing and customer file upkeep
  • Post office runs and other accounting errands
  • Assist accounting manager with A/R, A/P, G/L projects

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and 10 Key
  • Associate’s degree or 2 years of equivalent experience
  • Previous bookkeeping experience strongly preferred
  • Good typing speed (TPM≥50)
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Able to multitask and work under strict deadlines in an open office

Hours:

  • Approximately: 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
  • Approximately: 20-25 hours per week
