Location : Santa Ana CA

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Perform maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment in accordance of safety regulations and processes to support site operations goals and objectives

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of site facility as required

Perform troubleshooting and repairs of equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems

Coordinate with outside technicians and contractors in the diagnose and repair of equipment as necessary

Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as specified in the PM program

May perform basic plumbing or electrical maintenance as needed

Assist in the installation and validation of new equipment

Assist in Continuous Improvement Projects as needed

Source and maintain critical parts inventory to ensure equipment uptime is maximized

May be required to be available on an “On Call” basis to perform emergency maintenance requirements.

Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules

May be required to perform additional duties as assigned by management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED )required

Degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance desired

5 – 7 years facility/equipment maintenance or repair experience required

SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED

IT (hardware) installation knowledge / experience

Controls and PLC knowledge a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work performed in manufacturing environment where exposure to a number of elements occurs.

Lifting of materials to 75 lbs. up to 33% of the time.

Requires repetitive grasping, fingering, manipulation of materials.

Requires use of foot controls.

Corrected vision of 20/20, preferred.

Able to work in a fast-paced quality –oriented manufacturing environment.

Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as determined for the position.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Must submit to and pass background and substance abuse tests.

Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States through eVerify.

Must adhere to the Company Code of Conduct and Core Values.

Must follow designated safety rules and regulations.

Must be able to fulfill all the requirements of this position, including requirements related to the company’s Safety, Quality and Environmental Management System Policies and procedures.
