2nd Shift Liner Supervisor
Perform various inspections and execute a variety of folding patterns in support of producing food grade liners. The utility operator must be able to inspect and fold bags in a safe manner, producing high quality food product liners (bags) in the most efficient manner possible.
Utility operators will inspect liners produced on this new liner machine.
Utility operators will fold liners in a quality manner produced on this new liner machine.
Utility operators must operate ancillary pieces of equipment which produce various sub components of the liner.
All utility operator tasks must be done while maintaining the highest safety, best food practices and quality.
Complete various operator quality checks; assist with the upkeep of machinery with maintenance to minimize downtime; assist in troubleshooting machine problems. This includes completing various utility operator PM’s.
Assist in the daily production through Production Work Orders. This includes the documentation of how many liners were made to how many liners were scrapped during the production run. This may be done through various means of communication and recordkeeping practices, including logs, files, reports, and systems.
Complete all utility operator features of any/all “first article check” processes.
Responsible for participating in food safety with their fellow team members.
Other activities as assigned by the supervisor.
Education/Experience/Licenses & Certifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Prior food industry experience desired. Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Desire knowledge of food industry standards for production, safety, waste, and AIB/SQF housekeeping.
Solid technical aptitude skills.
Solid basic math skills.
Ability to follow written instructions.
Interface with computer and have the ability to enter data into various software platforms.
Demonstrated work performance to be self-directed and self-motivated.
Proven track record on safety and quality.
Professional attitude and good communication skills.
